2015 proved to be an exciting year in many ways. Clarissa and I moved out of our apartment and into an awesome century-old house, we got married, there were hikes and camp outs, new foods and airfare, surgeries and fractures. We explored the Black Hills, drove to Madison, slept along the banks of the Mississippi River, made new friends, and tried new things.
And as you know, I started this blog. I’ve been at it for roughly half a year now, and it’s been challenging, fun, exciting, and more hard work than perhaps even I expected. I have loved every bit of it. My goal has been to share my journey of building a more adventurous life with you, and hopefully encourage others to do likewise. I’ve tried to share my experiences by providing content that readers would enjoy and that they would be able to apply to their own lives in some way. I hope this has been the case for all of you, but the truth is that I’m still finding my voice and figuring out how to make this blog the best that it can be. For all of you that continue to read and share your experiences with me, I thank you!
I have a lot in store for 2016. New plans are sprouting, and it looks like it’s going to be an exciting year. As Clarissa and I are working out details for what’s to come, I can see that there are going to be a lot of changes that we’ll be making. That’s going to be challenging in many ways, but I’m looking forward to that. It’s in that spirit that I’ve moved my blog to its new home here at IntrepidDaily.com.
What does this mean for my readers? Hopefully nothing. You should continue to see my posts in your Reader feed or in your e-mail, depending on how you subscribe. If you accidentally go to the old site, it should redirect you to the new one. I’ve updated all the links as far as I can tell, but if you happen upon a broken link, please let me know. Hopefully we won’t have any issues because of the migration, but I appreciate your patience with me as I adjust to the new host and the new site.
So what’s next? I’m going to keep on producing the best content I can, and to do that I’ll need to have the best experiences that I can! If you have suggestions for trips, hikes, adventures, or experiments you’d like to see me try, please let me know. If you’re interested in writing a guest post, or having me write a guest post for you, please contact me, I’d love to talk to you about it. More than anything else, just keep on reading, keep on sharing my content, and keep on being intrepid in your own life!
Enjoyed this blog!
