Shortly after starting this site, I’ve had people reach out, asking for help planning an adventure, or asking how to get started. Helping others lead a more adventurous life is part of what Intrepid Daily is all about, and that’s why I wrote Adventure Ready.
So, are you ready for adventure?
I don’t just write about adventure because I love it, I write about adventure because I believe that adventuring has the capacity to change lives, and I want you to experience it firsthand. I’ve helped tons of people go from sitting on the couch to getting out and doing the stuff they’ve dreamed of. From their first day hikes to their first camping trip, people are hitting the road and the trail.
Now, I find that many of my readers are asking a different question; what comes next?
The answer is simple.

This is a learning tool that will help you learn how to plan an adventure. In Adventure Ready, I share the methods I use to plan and prepare for my own adventures, both big and small. I’ve made a lot of mistakes like forgetting gear, budgeting poorly, getting lost, and not knowing what to do in an emergency. This book will help you learn from my mistakes so you don’t have to make them.
